The ECO-in-Foundry Project - funded by the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission - is addressed to SMEs through the development of instruments of communication that will enable them to share knowledge related to environmental issues, to share possible solutions and to single out future research projects. The support actions will define a scenario aimed at spotlighting environmental problems in small-medium foundries and at rising questions that need decision making and problem solving activities in order to ensure cost savings and competitiveness.
