This “Methodological guide” is based on results of foundry process analysis carried out in the first year of activity of the “Ecoinfoundries” project.

Deliverable 7 - Methodological guide of Eco-in-Foundries (draft form 1)
The document will allow to identify environmental aspects linked to foundries production and working areas. The guide addresses SMEs to monitor these aspects and to hace access to information on technologies and good practices gathered from BREFs and from the network experiences. The conten will address: Foreword, Working areas and environmental aspects, Aspect and monitoring, Working areas and BATEV, Examples of environmental solutions, Innovation: reasons and benefits; how to find innovative solutions, The ecoinfoundries network: how to join and how to find benefits from it. The methodological guideline is continously developing until the next workshop.

Deliverable 6, Eco-in-foundries web site
The Eco-in-foundries web site has been implemented by AnySoft SRL, Romania, in the period May - October 2005. It has been tested in the period November - December 2005. Attached is the contents of the user guide. The printed version of the user guide will be distributed by the coordinator to the partners at the workshop meeting in February 2006. Suggestions for the improvement of the web site could be posted in the partners internal forum, section dedicated to technical reporting.

Deliverable 5, Eco-in-foundries online database
The Eco-in-foundries online database has been implemented by AnySoft SRL, Romania, in the period May - October 2005. It has been tested in the period November - December 2005. Attached is the contents of the descriptive documents, but the full documentation is available for the partners under Technical Guidelines directory in EcoDocManagement shared virtual space. This online database contains eco-foundries community information on: surveys, clean technologies, policies, events and workshops, news, profiles of the affiliated companies and much more, according to the project description data.
